First Aid Response
First Aid Response or FAR for short is the replacement to the occupational first aid course. This course is now recognised by the HSA as meeting the requirements of first aid in the workplace.

Full Course
The First Aid Response course runs for 18 hours normally over three days and the certification is valid for two years.
First Aid Refresher
If you hold a valid, in date FAR certificate you can attend a 12 hour refresher course, normally over two days.

Emergency First Aid
Our Emergency First Aid course (also known as Basic First Aid) is designed to give participants a strong foundation and understanding of what to do in an emergency. This course is suitable for individuals looking for practical skills needed to save a life which could be used at home or in your wider community. Covering adult and Paediatric emergencies.
Participants will learn to deal with:
Scene Safety
How and when to perform CPR.
Use of a defibrillator
Foreign body airway obstruction (choking)
Heart attack and stroke
Injury management (bleeding, breaks, sprains and burns)
Other common medical emergencies
This course is one day or can be split over two sessions.
